The sterilizers with UV lamps from STI Show Time Italy are ideal for domestic use, allowing effective reduction of bacteria, molds, and viruses. There are two models available: 16W, which guarantees its effectiveness up to a water flow of 7 liters/min (for example, a completely open kitchen faucet delivers a maximum of 3-4 liters/min) and 55W effective up to 45 liters/min ideal to be placed at the head of the entire system.
The UV lamps used in our sterilizers are Philips, these must be replaced every 12 months. It is also important to clean the quartz tube containing the UV lamp, as scale or other materials may deposit on it, creating a film that reduces the lamp's effectiveness. It is advisable to install polypropylene filters upstream of the sterilizer (filters and filter holder are available in our shop) to reduce suspended particles and decrease deposits on the lamp and the entire water system.
